A Day to Give Thanks

Another wonderful Thanksgiving spent with Nana, Hotda, and Kakya. A gorgeous and warm day that reminded us that living in Santa Barbara, so close to my family, is a wonderful gift.

We have so very much to be thankful for this year. It’s difficult to know where to start. Another baby, a new home, modern medicine and good healthcare, a steady income, our families, our friends, the Gospel… the blessings seem endless.

There’s nothing like roasted turkey and lots of stuffing, mashed potatoes and Dad’s golden gravy, and freshly baked pumpkin pie at the end of the day to celebrate our feelings of gratitude. And we truly are grateful. I absolutely love this holiday, not only for the fantastic food so hearty and bursting with flavor, but for the warming feelings of thankfulness that come from reflecting on even the smallest convenience we enjoy each day.

Thank you, Dad, Mom, and Ange for joining us here this holiday. It made the day that much better to share it with you.
