Tami has been one of my best friends since college. She knew me before I met Colin and shared many of the same life-changing experiences that young adulthood and that crazy time of life can bring. Institute and our touring Institute choir solidified our friendship even more. We were neighbors as newlyweds and spent many a penniless night playing Settlers of Catan and eating ice cream or brownies or a combination of both. Strong bonds.
She is one of the most selfless people I know, second only to my sweet mother. She jumps right in to help, always seeming to know what’s needed. She is creative and musically talented, playing the piano better than most I’ve heard. She is kind and loving and will listen with a sympathetic ear while giving the sagest advice you could receive. She’s the sort of friend who lifts you up and makes you a better person just by being around her.
And she genuinely loves my family. Everyone of them. What more could you ask for in a true friend?
We’d been scheming to get her down here since we came to this town. Maddie’s sealing provided the perfect opportunity for a visit.
While she was here she took the most incredible pictures of my babies I’ve ever seen. I’ll post them bits at at time. I’m trying not to covet her camera and her talent for capturing people in their truest form.
I’m so grateful we could steal her away from her three beautiful kiddos and amazing husband to be here with us this special weekend.
