SB Natural History Museum

Our very first visit to the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History. It certainly won’t be our last. That place is beautiful.

The “Robot Zoo,” nature paths that lead to streams and tadpoles, dinosaur bone digging, oodles of well-preserved animal species… what more could these science-loving kids ask for?

Julianna, thanks for giving us the excuse to go!

  1. I am so jealous. Even if there were a museum that awesome here (there’s not, in my totally unbiased opinion), it’s too hot to enjoy the great outdoors. Glad the Robot Zoo is cool. I’m trying not to be hurt that you didn’t go to my planetarium, though.

  2. Jeannie, thanks for posting these pics! They have completely changed everything and it looks SO MUCH MORE KID FRIENDLY! We have to go together sometime. Thanks for sharing;-)

  3. My only regret is that we didn’t visit while you were there, Krissie! We are going to the planetarium next time for sure!! Though I know it won’t be as awesome without you.

  4. Let’s get year passes and go. We’ve gone there once and the kids LOVED it. I want to start going all the time too.
