Lady in Red

My mother-in-law, Pam (or Grandma Tuki), is one of the most talented people I know. I’ve mentioned over and over again how she’s made incredible pieces of clothing, both sewn and knitted, for all of us, for all occasions. She’s so thoughtful.

This sweater and dress came as a surprise in the mail. She knitted the sweater without a pattern. Just thought it up and stitch stitch it was done. The heart dress she found to match perfectly. And the bow… that’s a Katie design, of course.

Red is a good color for this little girl, no?

(And to those of you old enough to remember that song played incessantly on the radio and at every Stake Youth Dance and now have it stuck in your head, my apologies.)

  1. WOW!!! Pam is so great, thoughtful and amazingly talented! I’m so glad we’re in her ward now. She made me feel at home right from the start.
