Halloween Decor
Hello. My name is Jeannie and I am addicted to holiday decor. Seriously, I cannot stop myself from planning, making, and buying decorating items.
It doesn’t last all year long. Most holidays are safe. The Fourth of July has little to offer and Easter is good enough with just a few eggs.
But Halloween? Thanksgiving? Christmas? There are just too many options this time of year to withstand the temptation.
Michael’s craft store is my den of sin. I cannot resist the plethora of decorating ideas that I see. Like this one:
And it doesn’t help that there was a killer sale on the vase. I’m contemplating adding some blood red flowers to the bouquet like this. See how it never ends?
And I’ve been reading a little too much Martha lately. Her gorgeous layouts feed my addiction all too well. I decided I needed to make something like this with labels I designed based on these few sites:
And these jars were too fun to pass up, plus Warren insisted on these spooky candles:
And these bats seemed easy enough:
So what was I to do?
Then Hilary went and posted about these, so I felt compelled to make my own:
But I think I’m done for the season. If you don’t count the pumpkins we’re going to carve… or the costumes to assemble…

Ha ha! You’re awesome! I am kind of the opposite- I think I’d love it if someone actually came and decorated my home for me, but I don’t want to do any work myself. So, if your house gets too cluttered…

Great, now I have four more things I want to make for Halloween from this post. You are awesome, I love it! I think I’m going to do a doily around an embroidery hook this week with a spider on it (have you seen that one). Maybe we should start our own Holiday Decorating additions club.

You’ve always been so good at Halloween! I love the jars. Maybe I could get ambitious enough for that one.
