For Family Home Evening this Monday, we carved up our pumpkins we’d picked at Lane Farms.
Maddie was in awe of the process. As long as she was holding one of the scooping instruments, she was a happy girl.
Warren needed only a little bit of help this year. He still doesn’t like to touch the innards, but he went to work on the rest of the jack-o-lantern preparations.
Colin designed and carved Maddie’s pumpkin and I cut the top off of Warren’s and scooped out the guts for him.
We were pleased with the final products.
Now we just hope they don’t completely rot before Halloween in this warm weather!
